Gowntastic is traditionally open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday (closing an hour early on Fridays), from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday, and is closed Monday-Tuesday. However, between May 23-June 24, Gowntastic will be closed to accommodate employee time off.

While they don’t explicitly focus on prom dresses, they do have a broad selection of gowns and dresses for just about any event. Fashions by Fowler is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday and opens a half-hour later on Saturday, and is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays. And finally, we make it to the last shop on our list. Encore Resale Fashions is a small shop in the outskirts of Akron (in Canton) with a surprisingly well-stocked collection.
